Blue Whale of Catoosa

In August 2002, volunteers from five Tulsa-area Hampton Inns participated in cleaning up the Blue Whale of Catoosa and installing a marker designating the site a Route 66 Roadside Attraction. Below are a few photographs from the event.

Mojo's Barbeque in Catoosa also received a Hampton Inn “Roadside Attraction” sign. Mojo's is located in an old gas station from the heyday of Route 66 travel.
