Free Paint for Big Change: Paint Oklahoma Beautiful Applications Open June 2nd

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful (KOB) applications for Paint Oklahoma Beautiful (POB) open June 2 and close July 31, 2025. The free paint program allows communities to receive high-quality recycled exterior paint in natural hues and a stipend check for supplies.

This statewide beautification program is open to anyone in Oklahoma looking to transform a local public structure with a fresh coat of paint. The amount of paint awarded is based on the surface area detailed in the application. Completed projects will be eligible for recognition in the “Communities Primed For Change” contest at the annual Environmental Excellence Celebration in November.

“It’s incredible what a fresh coat of paint can do — not just for buildings, but for community spirit,” said Evelyn Schaefer, KOB’s executive director.
