At our Annual Meeting in Weatherford, Oklahoma on January 22nd, Board of Directors elections were held for the following positions:

We want to thank Lucy Von Pops for her years of service to Oklahoma County and Jason Hensley for his work as Treasurer. We would be nowhere without our volunteers and we are thankful for the sacrifice of their time and energy in helping make the Oklahoma Route 66 Association what it is today.
Here’s a little more about our new Board Members!
Kerry Barrick lives in the Oklahoma City metro and is the Route 66 Coordinator for the Main Street Division of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. She is working with the Oklahoma Route 66 Centennial Commission to help communities along the road prepare for the upcoming celebrations in 2026. She also has experience at the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and the Made in Oklahoma Coalition.
Andrea Griffin has worked for the City of Yukon for several years as an Administrative Assistant and has volunteered with the Parks and Recreation Department for many more. She is an Ambassador with the Yukon Chamber and volunteers within their organization in various capacities. She has a passion for promotion and tourism not just in Yukon but across the state.
Matt Childers is a Commercial Loan Officer with BancFirst in El Reno. He is proud to live in El Reno and serve his community by volunteering for multiple boards, including El Reno Main Street, Students Striving for Success Mentor Program, and the El Reno Soccer Club. Matt enjoys coaching his children in sports and serving his church. Matt and his wife take pride in renovating old homes in El Reno, several of which are on Route 66.
